Cantor Soberman influenced generations of Beth Tzedec members as the

for over 35 years, during which he taught over 2,800 Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. Decades later, many members of our community still find themselves humming the melodies he loved and taught so well.
As a celebration of his legacy, Beth Tzedec is collecting stories, memories and photos of the late cantor to add to our archives and share with the community. Please tell us about the impact Cantor Soberman had on you and your ability to lead a meaningful Jewish life.
