The objects we keep or collect tell a story about us. In this small group we will be telling those stories. An extension of David’s weekly Treasure Trove segment in the Canadian Jewish News (https://thecjn.ca/arts/treasures/), each week a selection of historical treasures from his collection of Zionist memorabilia will be showcased. After the treasure is contextualized, we will have an opportunity to share our recollections or feelings about, or connection to, the event that the treasure represents. Participants who wish to do so will have the opportunity to showcase important objects that they have or collections they keep, and share their own stories about them. We will all be telling stories about items we care about and the importance of what they represent, and in the process we will be learning about each other and about our shared history.
