The Jewish calendar provides a wonderful way to celebrate the cycles of time and change on Rosh Hodesh, the beginning of each Jewish month at the new moon. A havurah (from the Hebrew word haver, meaning “friend”) is a small group of like-minded folks who come together to engage in Jewish life and practice in an environment based in friendship and community.

Havurat Hodesh meets monthly, giving us an opportunity to learn, teach, create, play, grow, and support one another while drawing on the richness of Jewish text, tradition, spirituality, ethics and culture in an atmosphere of mutual respect and friendship.

Anyone in their 20s and 30s are welcome and encouraged to join us.
